Exhibitions

We occasionally run exhibitions as a way of showcasing our member's talent and promoting the Nature Photography Society of New Zealand
Past exhibitions have been held during the Christchurch Arts Festival in 2001 & 2003. In the Merivale Mall in 2004 & 2005 and the Christchurch Central Library in 2007 and 2010. View a selection of the 2010 images.
In August 2011 we are holding an exhibition in the Christchurch South Library titled Art In Nature  It will also be shown in Hanmer in January 2012

10th Anniversary

At Easter 2004, our society celebrated its 10th anniversary. Several exciting events marked this celebration including an exhibition in the Merivale Mall which showcased members photos. We were also extremely fortunate to have Canadian photographer, Freeman Patterson, present a one day photography workshop for our society members. What an incredible time that was! Our anniversary celebration culminated in a wonderful dinner and social evening. During the evening, we presented Freeman Patterson with an honorary Fellowship of the Nature Photography Society of New Zealand.
