Our society organizes a variety of field trips for members. Nearly every month we run either a day trip or a weekend trip to some locality around the South Island. Our typical weekend trips are within a few hours of Christchurch. However, we do organize long weekend trips farther a-field. Past trips have include photographing autumn colours around Hanmer, sunflowers down at Oamaru, adventures on the West Coast, and romping around Canterbury with cameras in hand. Field trips are a key activity of the Nature Photography Society and we encourage members to join a trip and enjoy a day or weekend away with like minded enthusiasts.
