RAKAIA GORGE 2 – 4 September 2011

TRIP REPORT: Motunau

As there was insufficient interest in Rakaia the trip was cancelled. The 4 of us who were registered decided to go to Motunau for the weekend. This proved to be a great decision as the weather was kind and there were many photographic opportunities.  We stayed in a lovely old character house surrounded by big gum trees, awoke to a chorus of bell-birds and spent many pleasant hours on the beaches at Motunau and Napenape.
Many thanks to Judy for a great weekend.
