Orton Bradley Park, October 1st 2011
Trip Report
Seven intrepid members met near PMH at 8am on Saturday.
We drove to the Sign of the Kiwi and decided to stop as we pleased along the way to Gebbies Pass. Looking into the sun down Lyttelton Harbour produced stunning monochromatic images that just begged to be recorded, so they were.
It was nice to get out of the cold wind in the shelter of Orton Bradley Park later on in the morning. We wandered through the Rhododendron walk, photographing many interesting plants.
When the tummies rumbled we regrouped further into the park and swopped yarns over lunch. A nice relaxing time and good company.
